Programmes

The following list includes the lists of institutions which The e-University Compendium and the UNESCO IIEP List feel are worthy of consideration as virtual universities. It also includes each accredited open university around the world.

They are not the only institutions worthy of attention as Notable E-Learning Initiatives (NELIs) and not all of them are MELIs or NELIs.

Note of 11 August 2008: It is planned that Sara Frank Bristow will complete the list of non-EU programmes and that Paul will complete the list of the major EU programmes (e.g. EADTU members etc) and others cited in key reports. The partner responsible for each country will complete the less major entries for their country/countries - e.g. Paul for UK and Ireland.
