Université Virtuelle en Pays de la Loire (UVPL) is a virtual university consortium representing a number of educational institutions in the Pays de la Loire region of France (including state universities, grandes ecoles and others). As noted in the UNESCO report noted below, these include the three universities of Nantes, Angers and Le Mans, the IUFM (Institut universitaire de formation des maîtres) of the Pays de la Loire and the regional authority, the Conseil régional des Pays de la Loire.
