The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University is a university in Kota, Rajasthan, India, established in 1987. Formerly known as Kota Open University, it seeks to educate those otherwise deprived of a more conventional system of education.
The university is geographically distributed throughout Rajasthan, with six regional centres and dozens of study centres in different cities, in addition to a special centre at New Delhi.
