Million+

Million+, formerly known as the Campaign for Mainstream Universities, is the working group of 29 UK universities incorporated post-1992 and some university colleges. Many have long histories as colleges and subsequently polytechnics.

Formed in 1997 as the Coalition of Modern Universities, it changed its name in 2004.

In November 2007 the organisation was rebranded with the name Million+.

It now has its own web site - at http://www.millionplus.ac.uk/ (some of the UK university associations were rather diffident at having their own web site).
