Farther Europe

Farther Europe is a technical term for the collection of those countries in the geographic continent of Europe which are not in the core parts of Europe: the European Economic Zone (EEZ) comprised of the EU, the EEA and Switzerland.

Autonomous regions, such as the Isle of Man, within the continent of Europe that are owned by countries in the EEZ are counted also as in the EEZ.
