The European Virtual School (EVS) is the regional branch of the World Virtual School (WVS) - a U.S. based, non-profit body with over 500,000 students worldwide.
The European Virtual School’s most recent enrolment figures suggest that there are some 56,000 students across Europe and a further 58,000 in Turkey.

Further information
EVS is the only visible, significant virtual school presence yet identified in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union with over 8,000 students in Russia alone.
