Westwood Cyber High
The Westwood Cyber High (WCHS) is a public online high school located in the US state of Michigan. Students between ages 14-19 may enroll. WCHS offers educational options for students who are unable to attend traditional schools, for a variety of reasons.
WCHS is said to be modeled on the "not school" programme in the United Kingdom. Students attend a learning centre for two hours per week and do most of their coursework online.
The schools enrolled 529 students in 2009-2010.
Founded in late 2008, the school started enrolling students in February 2009. The school is fully funded by the State of Michigan as a Michigan Department of Education High School for At-Risk youth.
