The Universities of the Heads of the Valleys Institute - UHOVI - is a ground-breaking and exciting education initiative providing new opportunities for people and businesses in the Heads of the Valleys region of South Wales.

UHOVI is all about improving skills and qualifications by making learning accessible locally. Ultimately this will contribute to the regeneration of the Valleys, improving job prospects and the quality of life for those living and working in the region.

Backed by the Welsh Government, UHOVI is part of the University of South Wales Group.

UHOVI is working closely with further education colleges and training providers, local authorities, businesses, schools and the voluntary sector to show how a combined effort can make a real difference.
