UOC - OEC
The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) is an online university, that has been able to make continuous lifelong learning possible by means of the intensive use of information and communications technologies (ICT). At the UOC, students are provided a quality, personalised and flexible education, receiving, via the Virtual Campus, guidance from an accredited teaching team and from the most innovative didactic resources and services. The UOC focuses its research on the fields of education and ICT, and network society from an interdisciplinary and transversal point of view. Constant innovation is the sine qua non of the UOC's existence as it develops a new university model integrated in the emerging knowledge society and open to the world, offering training in various languages. Over 37,000 students from 45 countries, 15,000 graduates and training plans for 900 companies are the result of the UOC's 12 years in existence.
