Texas Connections Academy @ Houston
The Texas Connections Academy @ Houston (TCAH) is a public school partnered with the private Connections Academy to provide a full-time curriculum for students in grades 3-10. It is located in the US state of Texas and serves students statewide. It is a tuition-free virtual school; students study from home.
In 2009-2010 there were 971 students enrolled.
TCAH is operated under the terms of the Texas Electronic Course Program (eCP) in partnership with the Houston Independent School District (HISD) - unlike most Connection Academies, it is not a charter school.
Each family enrolled in 2011–12 school year will receive the loan of a desktop computer and Internet subsidy.
