The Pacific View Charter School (PVCS) is a K-12 tuition-free, public charter school located in the US state of California. It uses a variety of materials from Prentice-Hall, Houghton Mifflin, Saxon, Holt, K12 Inc, Apex and other publishers. High school students have the opportunity to receive their education through traditional book-based curriculum or in an online format.

The school was established in 1999 to provide an alternative educational opportunity for students in San Diego County and adjacent California counties.

The school opened its doors with 120 students. During the 2009-2010 school year, PVCS averaged 390 K-12 students.

K-7 students have an optional half-day-per-week class and 8th grade students can attend two half-days. Some high school classes have required workshops such as Work Experience, English, Biology, and Spanish.

K-8 students meet one-on-one with their Supervisory Teacher every two-three weeks; high school students meet one-on-one every week with their Supervisory Teacher. Classes and workshops have less than 20 students.
