Kerala is a state in south-western India. It borders Karnataka to the north, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Arabian Sea to the west.
The 2011 census records a population of 33.3 million in inhabitants over 14 districts. The state capital and largest city is Thiruvananthapuram.
