Hawaii

Hawaii is an island state in the United States, consisting of eight major islands in the North Pacific Ocean.

The state of Hawaii

The 2010 census records a population of 1.3 million. The state capital and largest city is Honolulu on the island of Oʻahu. Hawaii is known as The Aloha State.

Geographically it is part of Polynesia in Oceania, but we treat it as part of the United States.
