Frog's Learning Platform offers exceptional creative control enabling teachers, admin staff and even pupils to fully embed their learning platform into the school's working practices and tailor it to the needs of their school.

It enables schools to have the ICT-catalysed change capacity essential to the BSF aim of transforming education.

With Frog’s easy to use drag and drop system you can easily create everything from learning resources and lessons, to full portals and applications. Simply use the bricks that have been created for you and drag and drop them into the page – Frog integrates with over 50 partners enabling you to use a variety of content providers and third party applications (e.g. video conferencing), enhancing your lessons even further.

Frog is installed on a server within your school, linking to your Network and MIS, and incorporating your mail server and Internet controls.

The Frog Parental Engagement Platform has been designed specifically to "engage" parents first and foremost. We have created an interface to present everything in a way that parents are familiar with - similar to today's popular social networking sites.

In doing this, we've essentially created a Facebook™ for education, bringing the parents into the classroom and connecting them with their children, each other and the teachers.

Parents will be able to:

  • Access their child's attendance, behaviour, attainments and timetables
  • Easily communicate with their child's teacher
  • See profiles of teachers and access lesson resources
  • View the child's daily mark book
  • See their child's daily feed including registration, marks, teacher's comments and examples of work
  • Leave messages for their child or teachers

FrogTrade Ltd was established in 1999 and now has 80 employees. The head office is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
