El Salvador National Education Plan 2021

The National Education Plan 2021 of the Republic of El Salvador is an initiative of the Government led and coordinated by the Ministry of Education, Republic of El Salvador, to coordinate the efforts to improve the national education system. The plan aims to formulate a long term vision, policy and educational goals priority over the coming years.

Several of the programmes appear to be national initiatives but in the main focussed at schools and thus out of scope for Re.ViCa.

Foundations

The State, in its potential to transcend time and various historical realities, has the challenge to consolidate in the global context, an area of justice based on developing a legally secure environment... a society in which common good prevails.

EDÚCAME

The EDÚCAME programme aims to ease the supply of educational services in Third Cycle and High School, through the implementation of new forms of care and delivery, in order to reintegrate into the education system the young people who interrupted their education.

PODER (Power)

The PODER programme aims to promote the cultivation of positive attitudes and the freedom to make responsible decisions in the young graduate and high school students through extracurricular activities based on five core principles: participation, opportunities, development, education and recreation.

MEGATEC

The MEGATEC programme has as its purpose to design and implement a modern educational alternative to enhances the technical education and use high technology for building human capital to mobilize regional economic development.

COMPRENDO (Understand)

The COMPRENDO programme is aimed at improving reasoning skills and mathematical analysis, as well as listening and speaking skills of language in children in the first cycle of basic education, as a basis for greater school success.

REDES ESCOLARES EFECTIVAS (Effective schools networks)

The programme REDES ESCOLARES EFECTIVAS aims to improve efficiency in the provision of educational services and ensure that children and young people from poorer areas and areas of backwardness in higher educational backwardness have access to quality education.

RED SOLIDARIA ("Solidarity" Network)

CONÉCTATE (Connect)

The CONNECT programme aims to the National Education System with technology tools to improve academic quality standards and develop, in the students, technical competence required to raise the level of national competitiveness.

COMPITE

The COMPITE programme aims to develop the skills of graduate students of Basic Education and High School in English language understanging and skill.
