The Daegu Cyber University (DCU) supports fully online degree education in South Korea.
Per its web site, the university's stated educational mission is:
- To develop competent human resources who will care for the world with love and devotion.
A recent article by the university's president declares that the school aims at "upgrading the Korean people through online education based on IT technology."
In 2001 the university was officially approved as a regular 4-year university for distance education by the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development of the Republic of Korea. The university officially opened in 2002.
Although administratively distinct, the university has close ties with Daegu University.
Daegu Cyber University's main office is in Gyeongsan City, North Gyeongsang province, South Korea.
