The Ontario Ministry of Education states that in 2010 12 French-language school boards in Ontario launched the Consortium Virtual Learning French language in Ontario.
Its website is http://www.apprentissageenligne.org/ .
Further information
The Consortium, falls under the same regulations as the two English language programmes (the Ontario eLearning Consortium and the Ontario Catholic eLearning Consortium) in the province.
The delivery model, is primarily asynchronous although students are able to contact their teacher via telephone or using synchronous tools at any time during the school day.
