It has recently issued a call for proposals to researchers interested in higher education in Puerto Rico. The Center has outlined six research topics for proposals.

Topic two proposes studying the relationship between the academic load of teaching staff and the quality of education, while topic three focuses on factors associated with individual and institutional success.

Topic four is the highly important issue of the effectiveness of student financial aids programs and their relationship to academic success.

The fifth topic request is an nalysis of the profiles of virtual education students.

And the final topic is left open for researchers to submit proposals regarding other issues not included here.

Projects start in July 2009 and run until October 2010.
