Academy Online High School

The Academy Online High School is a small virtual high school in the US state of Colorado. It was founded in 2008, serving 102 high school students. It is part of Colorado's "Academy District 20" and accredited as a multi-district online programme. Diplomas are awarded through the school district.
In 2010-2011 there were 24 full-time and 186 part-time students enrolled.
Students may participate either part-time or full-time, entirely online. Courses are instructor led, and therefore not self-paced. Credit recovery is not available.
A middle school for grades 6-8 is being piloted in 2011.
