The Open Universities Australia (OUA), formerly Open Learning Australia (OLA), is owned by seven leading universities across Australia: Curtin University of Technology, Griffith University, Macquarie University, Monash University, RMIT University, Swinburne University of Technology, and the University of South Australia. It is one of the country’s fastest-growing online higher education services. Founded in 1993, OUA has served over 110,000 students. With 25,000 students at present, it offers 900 units and 60 certificates or degrees from 15 Australian universities and TAFE colleges.
