The Montana Digital Academy (MTDA) is a state virtual school that is a unit of the US state of Montana higher education system, hosted by the University of Montana's College of Education. It was founded in 2010.
As of September 2011, MTDA reported approximately 1,500 students and over 2,000 course enrollments for the 2010 fall semester.
Enrollments in MTDA must be made by a Montana public school. Home school and private school students may enroll through their local public schools.

HB645, the Montana Reinvestment Act, appropriated $2 million to the Montana higher education system to develop and launch MTDA.
