In the long term perspective the goal is to create a virtual "Baltic Sea University of Science and Technology" based on a number of universities around the Baltic Sea as a strategic resource for long-term development of education and research in accordance with the needs of the region. The Consortium is governed by a Board consisting of representatives of the Partner Universities and a Secretariat appointed by the Board.
