The CCSD Virtual High School (Clark County School District VHS, VOLTS, CCSDDE) is a virtual high school located in the US state of Nevada. Opened in 2004 in the Clark County School District, it is based on the school's former Distance Education program. It accepts both full-time and part-time (supplemental) students. Full-time students must be located in Clark County.
In 2010-2011 there were 149 students.
The virtual high school provides opportunities for Nevada schools to use its online courses as a resource, for core, terminated or credit-recovery classes (enabling students to graduate from other schools). It aims to provide training to teachers from traditional schools (one per school, per year).
Learning is provided asynchronously through Blackboard, and synchronously through the Centra platform.
The Clark County School District web site is at http://www.ccsdde.net/
