Arunachal Pradesh is a state in the far north-east of India. It borders The People's Republic of China to the north, Burma to the east, Bhutan to the west and the Indian states of Assam and Nagaland to the south.
The population of Arunachal Pradesh, according to the 2011 census, is 1,382,611 in 16 districts. The state capital and largest city is Itanagar.
