Connecticut is a state in the New England region of the north-eastern United States. It borders Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, and the state of New York to the west and the south.
Connecticut has a population of 3.5 million as of 2010. The state capital is Hartford and the largest city is Bridgeport. Connecticut is known as the Constitution State.
