The New Jersey Virtual School (NJVS) delivers online instruction to high school and middle school students in grades 6-12. It is located in the US state of New Jersey.
Since 2002, NJVS has provided courses to more than 450 (of 590) school districts, agencies, alternative programmes, and residential facilities in New Jersey with over 14,000 enrollments. NJVS uses the Florida Virtual School curriculum for course remediation, promotion, or to meet New Jersey high school graduation requirements.
Monmouth Ocean Educational Service Commission (ESC), a public, non-profit agency, has legal ownership of NJVS, but it is not a traditional state virtual school.
