The virtual high school provides opportunities for South Dakota schools to use its online courses as a resource, for core, terminated or credit-recovery classes (enabling students to graduate from other schools). It aims to provide training to teachers from traditional schools (one per school, per year).


Learning is provided asynchronously through Blackboard, and synchronously through Centra.
