The Academy Online High School is a small virtual high school in the US state of Colorado. It was founded in 2008, serving 102 high school students. In the 2010-2011 year it served 346 students. It is part of Colorado's "Academy District 20" and accredited as a multi-district online programme. Diplomas are awarded through the school district.
In 2010-2011 there were 24 full-time and 186 part-time students enrolled.
Students may participate either part-time or full-time, entirely online. Courses are instructor led, and therefore not self-paced. Credit recovery is not available.
A middle school for grades 6-8 is being piloted in 2011.
