I am very experienced and confident in both web-based and more focused research through peer networks. Developing musical programmes and supporting information for my concert series has given me real insight into the research process and the need to corroborate different evidence sources to develop a complete picture of the subject. Gabriela Job Di Laccio - BMus (Hons), PGDip RCM

I am a Graduate of the University of Music and Fine Art in Paraná, Brazil, where I qualified with a Bachelor of Music BMus degree in 2000. I subsequently undertook Post Graduate study at the Royal College of Music, London between 2001 and 2004, where I qualified with Post Graduate Diplomas in Early Music and Opera Performance.

Alongside my singing career, I have also undertaken a number of other activities including working directly with the Institute of Education (IOE) - in the University of London - as a translator/interpreter. During this time, I carried out Portuguese/English translation for an IOE programme with the British Council, involving the exchange visits of Head Teachers between UK and Brazilian schools. The work placed me alongside these exchange Head Teachers and involved simultaneous translation to support their discussions. The work gave me both an insight into the educational challenges of both countries, along with a set of educational contacts that I have carefully nurtured.

I am very experienced and confident in both web-based and more focused research through peer networks. Developing musical programmes and supporting information for my concert series has given me real insight into the research process and the need to corroborate different evidence sources to develop a complete picture of the subject. Research activities cover many different composers, countries and musical influences to develop interesting programmes.

I have a great interest in Education Projects as I believe education is the base to create great individuals and advanced countries. Being Brazilian I strive to make a difference in my own country. In 2011 I started Bravo Brazil www.bravo-brazil.com a charity launched to support the development of schoolchildren in Brazil through the use of music. The charity works with schools in deprived areas of Brazil.

Since 2004, I have been a professional classical singer, based in London, and performing in Europe and South America.
