The Louisiana Board of Regents is a government agency in the U.S. state of Louisiana that is responsible for coordination of all public higher education in the state. As noted on the Regents' web site, "Louisiana Constitution authorizes the Board of Regents to plan, coordinate, and have budgetary responsibility for Louisiana’s public higher education community, including 19 public colleges, universities, and/or professional schools."
