The University of East London (UEL) supports distance learning and e-learning through its Virtual Campus UEL Plus (VLE BlackBoard).

The university is all about inclusion, highlighting the fact that they enroll students over a certain age and that they have committed themselves with regard to disabled students.

The University of East London main office is in London, UK. Other campuses are located in the same city.

The UEL has more than 20,000 students. Besides full-time and part-time study, the university also allows for distance learning. Its distance learning pages give more information about the subject: http://www.uel.ac.uk/uelconnect/distance_learning/index.htm: Distance learning students receive their study materials by post, email or by logging in to our Virtual Campus (UEL Plus).

UEL also highlights and explains some Web2.0 terms that are relevant to the UEL learning: http://www.uel.ac.uk/uelconnect/learning_technologies/emerging_technologies/index.htm.
