The Montana University System (MUS) supports online education from various universities in the state of Montana, US.

The Montana University System is comprised of 14 campuses, enrolling more than 42,000 students. Participating institutions are from across the state. These include Montana State University, The University of Montana, and Rocky Mountain College (among others).

The MUS distance learning web site allows aggregates the online courses and programs offered through Montana’s eleven public two and four-year campuses. Within these campuses:

  • More than 6000 students enroll in Distance Learning courses each semester;
  • Nearly 500 courses are offered each semester; and
  • More than 50 degree and certificate programs are offered on-line.
