The University of Delhi (Delhi University, दिल्लीविश्‍वविद्यालय, DU) supports e-learning and distance education.

The University of Delhi main office is in Delhi, India. Other campuses are spread over Delhi and New Delhi.


DU has 2,20,000 students.


The University of Delhi web site is at http://www.du.ac.in. Its e-learning portal is located at http://e-learn.du.ac.in/

E-learning

Its e-learning portal (KEWL.NextGen LMS) consists of various online courses and other support material for regular courses of the university and is used by students and teachers.

DU publishes course materials only, free to be downloaded: http://www.du.ac.in/bacourse.html.

It now also has video streaming of a certificate course, but it is only available on DU [Network.

Distance Learning

Its Campus of Open Learning includes the School of Open Learning, which was formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, established under the University of Delhi in 1962, and a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India. The medium of instruction is primarily through well- prepared printed course material which is distributed by mail to all the enrolled students.
