Charles Sturt University (CSU) is an Australian multi-campus university in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. It has campuses at Bathurst, Albury-Wodonga, Dubbo, Orange and Wagga Wagga, as well as specialist centres in Canberra, Manly (Sydney), Goulburn and Broken Hill. Established in 1989, CSU is known for offering a diverse range of distance education courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. While technology is used to support courses and submit assignments, students still receive physical 'study packs' for every course in which they enrol for example, DVDs and CD-ROMs supplementing some study guides are distributed directly to the students.

The feedback between students and teachers is relevant for this kind of studying, for this reason they offer several methods to recive information or solve doubts through fax, telephone(you can join to telephone tutorials with 10 persons simultaneously), internet(videoconferencing, mail).

CSU offers nearly 500 courses to approximately 35,000 students, presential and distance.
