The Open University Business School in Denmark (, OU Business School in Denmark) is a division of the OU Business School in the UK. It offers courses exclusively via supported distance learning.


Born in the 1960s, the OU was founded on the belief that communications technology could bring high quality degree-level learning to people lacking the opportunity or desire to attend campus universities.


The OUBS in Denmark has an advisor based in Copenhagen, but no main office is published on the web site. It has a significant amount of subdivisions or "Centres" and according tutors: Centre for Financial Management, a Centre for Human Resource and Change Management, a Centre for Innovation, Knowledge and Enterprise, a Centre for Public Leadership and Social Enterprise [PuLSE], a Centre for Strategy and Marketing and a Centre for Continuing Professional Development.


The teaching method is supported distance learning or blended learning: a mix of texts, DVDs, online working, residential schools and personal tutorial support with tutors, seminars, workshops, ... Courses are taught in English.


There are currently around 65 students studying with The Open University in Denmark where the OU and OU Business School have been offering courses since 1992. There are around 50 OU graduates including 20 MBA alumni living in Denmark.
