The Universidad de Zaragoza (University of Zaragoza, Saragossa University) is the only public university in the region of Aragón, Spain. It is the lead partner in the EC LAW & ICT Virtual campus project (LAW&ICT). Funded by the European Union, Lifelong Learning Programme 2007–2013, ref.: 133837-LLP-1-2007-1-ES-ERASMUS-EVC, the project is scheduled to run from 1/10/2007 to 31/9/2009.

LAW&ICT is considered a 'European Shared Virtual Campus' on Law and Information and Communication Technologies. It seeks to offer Europe-wide graduate- and postgraduate-level courses (and lifelong learning). Programmes in development among 10 European universities include an international Bachelor's in LAW&ICT, a Master's in LAW&ICT, and a Lifelong Learning Programme in LAW&ICT.

As stated in the LEFIS report cited below, 'the LAW&ICT Shared Virtual Campus encourages the mobility of teachers, students and professionals among countries, sharing knowledge about similar and divergent aspects in LAW&ICT.'
