Professor Terry Anderson is currently Professor & Canada Research Chair in Distance Education at Athabasca University. He is involved in research, service and teaching activities, including with graduate students. He is editor of the award-winning text Theory and Practice of Online Learning, 2nd Edition (2008). He is currently Editor of the International Review of Research in Open and Distance Learning, and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals.
He is an active keynote and regular session speaker at a variety of education, distance education and net-based learning conferences.
He also serves on advisory committees for the Alberta and Canadian governments.
