Ms Ildiko Mazar, M.Sc (Chemical Engineering), with 1 semester of study exchange experience at Iowa State University in 2000, was founder and first President of the Committee of International Student Relations of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (1999). Joined the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) in 1999, Project Manager between 2002 and 2013 and Deputy Secretary General since December 2013. She's been teleworking from Scotland since 2009.
Responsible at EDEN for preparation and implementation of the Association’s work in EU education and research programmes, including development of partnerships and proposals, content and concept, HR and financial management. Successfully managed 50+ projects.
With wide international experience and active network of connections, supports in EDEN the decision making for strategic planning and development of synergies between the membership services, professional development activities, academic conferences and project work. She is a confident presenter and a creative and collaborative team member.
