Bihar is a state in eastern India. It borders Nepal to the north, West Bengal to the east, Jharkhand to the south and Uttar Pradesh to the west
Bihar is the third largest state in India by population, with 103.8 million inhabitants over 38 districts recorded in the 2011 census. The state capital and largest city is Patna.
