D6.5 3 workshops with International Advisory Committee

The WP will organise three IAC workshops, to coincide with conferences or other major events. In Year 1 the IAC will focus more on inventory and categorisation issues, on Years 2/3 more on policy issues.

Experience shows that it is wise not to schedule the first IAC until several months after the project start (allowing for delays, selection of candidates and lead time to link into conferences).

The first full IAC workshop was to be at Online Educa in December 2012 but was replaced by a multi-project workshop on OER. It is now taking place at OER13.

The second workshop will be at EDEN in June 2013 in Oslo.

The third and final workshop will be at Online Educa in December 2013. This will focus on feedback from and discussion with political decision makers.

A later informal meeting, with greater focus on practitioners, may take place at a relevant OER conference in the period February-April 2014.
