I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Dordt College in rural Iowa state in the mid-western United States in 2009.

Currently serving as the Continuous Improvement Coordinator for a fully-virtual K-12 school, I am also currently pursuing a master's degree in International Development and Poverty Reduction (through an online program with the University of Birmingham in England). For my thesis, I am looking at the correlation between virtual education and poverty reduction.
