e-Gov or e-Government is the information portal website http://www.e-gov.go.jp/ managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, which collects various information across ministries that is useful and more directly relevant to the lives of Japanese citizens.

It also collects numerous laws and regulations from constitution to ministerial order in an organized and accessible manner, with prompt e-mail or telephone based Q&A services to help inquirers to find the necessary information.
