Hoosier Academies
The Hoosier Academies are public charter schools located in the US state of Indiana. Hoosier Academies were founded in 2008 and offer three statewide options for Indiana families:
- Hoosier Academies Muncie (grades K–8)—a "hybrid" school
- Hoosier Academies Indianapolis (grades K–12)—a "hybrid" school
- Hoosier Academies Virtual School (grades K–10)—a fully online school
The school provides all textbooks and instructional materials needed to complete the programme, available at each of the Learning Centres. Students spend 20-25% of their time online in the early grades, and more as time progresses. Indiana virtual charter schools are required to provide for the delivery of more than 50% of instruction through virtual distance learning online technologies.
Hoosier Academies was the first to open a full-time virtual charter school in Indiana.

The academies were initially authorized by Ball State University.
Students engage in face-to-face instruction with a state-certified teacher for part of the week, while the remainder of the weekly instruction is facilitated off-site with a Learning Coach (e.g. parent).
