Gwinnett Online Campus
The Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC) offers a full-time charter school and supplemental courses. It is located in the US state of Georgia. GOC is the oldest online program in Georgia, serving students since 1999. It has grown from serving 122 students in summer school/7th period in 2000 to over 5000 in 2010. The program grew to include 110 high school courses, middle school courses, math support classes, online staff development, online credit recovery, special entity support, and curriculum resources and support. Gwinnett Online Campus is one of the largest district-level supplemental online programmes in the US.
The Gwinnett Online Campus Charter School opened for high school students in 2011, and will open for middle school in 2012, and upper elementary in 2012.
Supplemental programme students are typically enrolled in a Gwinnett County brick and mortar school, although full-time Gwinnett Online Campus students can take extra classes.
