Chester Area Cyber School
The Chester Area Cyber School (CACS) is a free, online public school for residents of the US state of South Dakota. Its goal is to use technology to reach students who have not previously been able to take advantage of a high school education (i.e. require an alternative setting). Asynchronous courses are provided across a range of pilot schools, for students in grades 9-12. In 2010-2011, the Cyber School served 205 students. Students may complete coursework entirely online or both online and offline.
All Chester Area students, regardless of age, who have not attained a high school diploma, are eligible to take classes through Chester Area Cyber School (CACS).
