This is the second of a number of bibliographies on topics relevant to Re.ViCa.

It is aimed to extend this bibliography with quality criteria for e-learning sourced from many countries.

Distance learning guidelines, 1999

The guidelines are arranged into six categories, each dealing with an aspect where quality assurance is likely to require attention in a particular way when study is by distance learning:

  1. System design
  2. Programme design, approval and review
  3. Management of programme delivery
  4. Student development and support
  5. Student communication and representation
  6. Student assessment
