This is the second of a number of bibliographies on topics relevant to Re.ViCa.
It is aimed to extend this bibliography with similar reports from other countries - but there are many international references below.

The guidelines are arranged into six categories, each dealing with an aspect where quality assurance is likely to require attention in a particular way when study is by distance learning:

- Programme design, approval and review
- Management of programme delivery
- Student development and support
- Student communication and representation
- Student assessment
