The Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule or Priv. Fern-FH Darmstadt (Private Distance-University of Applied Science Darmstadt) is with 5,000 students in 2008 the biggest technical university of applied sciences in Germany.
It offers bachelor and diploma-degrees in informatics and engineering. Unlike public institutions students can start their studies at any time during the year.
