With 7,200 students in 2008, the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule (HFH) is one of the biggest private institutions of Higher Education in Germany. It offers study programs in the business, technology and the health sectors. The programmes are especially conceived for people working while studying. With 39 regional study centres in Germany and Austria, students can get support near to their home. Students may start their studies or on January 1st or on July 1st each year.
