The professional Schools, like trade associations with legal personality, function in accordance with the Law of Compulsory Professional licensing (Ley de colegiación Profesional obligatoria) and the statutes of each school will be approved regardless of universities their graduates are from.
Responsibilities
Contribute to strengthening the autonomy of the "Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala" and the aims and objectives of all universities.
In any matter that relates to improving the cultural level of scientific and technical university professions, the universities of the country may require the participation of professional schools.
